After a sour opening weekend against UC Irvine saw Nevada get outscored by the Anteaters 39-8, the Wolf Pack dropped their fourth straight game to start the season against Loyola Marymount 8-5 on Friday.
Nevada starting pitcher Tom Jameson didn't get out of the second inning and was tagged for six runs in the loss.
Jameson has now been unable to pitch into the third inning for his second straight start.
Matt Lowenstein led Loyola Marymount going 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs to go along with a walk.
The Lions are now 5-1 on the season with the win. They won three out of four against UC Riverside and beat Long Beach State 5-1 on Tuesday.
