Louisiana Tech beaten for first time in 2011

A strong start to the 2011 season for Louisiana Tech was halted Friday by McNeese State 7-6.
The Bulldogs fall to 4-1 with the loss while McNeese State improves to 3-3.
First baseman Alex Williams was 1-for-4 with a double and three RBI and is now hitting .350 for the season for Louisiana Tech.
Joey Ford got the start at second base for the Bulldogs and was also 1-for-4 on the day. Ford's average sits at a fashionable .450 in 20 at-bats.
The Cowboys and Bulldogs will finish the three game set over the weekend
